HEART Humane Society, Inc.

We have partnered up with Hill's Science Diet - Every dog & puppy adopted from the HEART Humane Society shelter will go to their new forever home with a free, 4-lb bag of Science Diet dog or puppy food.

Our animals are up to date on their shots and spayed/neutered before they leave our shelter. For more information on any of our animals, please call 812.952.1713.

We have a female Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Blondie. She is 5 1/2 years old, housebroken, super super sweet and very affectionate. She's spayed, up to date on her shots and her adoption fee is $200.

Rescued Calamity Fund

R.C. and Crooner are just two of the "rescued calamities" with severe injuries that have been brought in to the HEART Humane Shelter. HEART gladly pays for their surgery and medical care and then brings them back to our shelter until they have fully recovered and can be placed for adoption.

A special account has been set up for dogs & cats that are badly injured but with surgery they can lead normal, productive lives. If you can make a donation to Rescued Calamity's surgery, please make a check payable to "HEART Adoption Account" and write "For R.C. Surgery" in the memo. Please send your donation to HEART Humane Society, Inc., P.O. Box 576, Corydon, IN 47112.
